Red Tagua

Tagua nut is a fruit seed that comes from the Phytelephas Macrocarpa palm tree that grows in the tropical rainforests of South America. The palm trees are not cut down to harvest the nuts they are gathered when they fall naturally to the ground. The nuts are dried, dyed and polished to make beautiful natural stones sometimes referred to as natural ivory.
